Fornova: first hospitality BI company to connect Google Pay Per Stay to global hotel industry

Fornova, a world-leading travel and hospitality business intelligence specialist, announces today, Friday, 20 November 2020, that it has become the first in its industry to enable hotels to seamlessly connect to and automatically monitor Google Pay Per Stay (PPS).

By partnering with Google to become an approved Google Hotel Ads Connectivity and Bidding Partner, Fornova can ensure that its clients have the highest level of support to make the most of Google's latest offering to the hospitality sector. The new tool from Fornova combines data insights from its distribution intelligence platform, FornovaDI with its extensive Google expertise to create a dedicated Google PPS dashboard.

This unique Google-focused service will automatically and dynamically increase conversion and commissions by monitoring a vast number of dates and removing outliers with severe parity issues from the feeds. Distribution and marketing teams will get a much more detailed insight into distribution to ensure they maximize conversion.

Dori Stein, Fornova's CEO, said: "We are committed to always being at the forefront of our industry - providing our clients with the very latest technology and data insights and we are delighted to be the first hospitality business insights firm to offer Google PPS connectivity. Google's offering is a major opportunity for hotels who are looking at every opportunity to capture demand. Traditionally, hoteliers have spent a fortune in agency fees to optimize traditional Google campaigns. But, now with the right technology partner they can capture demand at a fraction of the cost.

"Google has underlined to us how imperative it is to ensure hotels provide the highest quality of data but keeping track of multiple room types and offerings across multiple properties can feel like an impossible task. Any mistakes - particularly around pricing, availability and, tax - could cost you dearly in the visibility stakes. And, remember - Google does constant spot-checks!"

Google PPS offers a huge opportunity to capture demand without risking their cash flow. Unlike traditional Cost Per Click (CPC) bidding or paying a huge fee of up to 17% to agencies for a Cost Per Action (CPA) campaign, with PPS hotels only pay for confirmed stays - avoiding wasting money on paying a commission on cancelled bookings and meaning fees are only paid once revenue from the stay is in the bank. PPS gives hotels greater control over their cash flow while enabling them to reach new markets.
